About Us & Our Values
Lowrider was started by Emily Allport at farmer's markets and pop-ups around Seattle, and has now grown to two retail locations in Seattle. Lowrider is named after Emily's two dachshunds, Smokey and Riley.
We believe in supporting and donating to our local community. We believe we can make the biggest impact by focusing on our immediate community, and believe if everyone did one small act of kindness in their community, our world would be a much better place.
We donate monthly to our Seattle NAACP Chapter and to Mary's Place, a Seattle organization that helps people experiencing homelessness. We donate cookies weekly to a local community kitchen so that everyone can enjoy our cookies.
Not only do we donate to local organizations, we try to hire and work with as many local companies as possible. By working with local companies, we keep our Seattle and American economy strong and thriving. Everything from our branding, to our boxes, to our apparel, was done by companies and individuals in Seattle. Here is a list of some of the companies we work with in Seattle:
Studio Dodge, Wildforth Creative, Alliance Packaging, Firefly Neon, DRSi, Merlino Foods, Medosweet Farms, and many more.
We would not be here without the love and support of our community, so it is our privilege to love and support them right back :)
